Geothermal Energy Usage In My Flowers

There is a significant thermal energy reserve in the subsurface soil and water. Geothermal heating technologies capture this energy and transform it into heat that can be used in greenhouses and other structures. My Flowers use thermal energy to heat the greenhouses at the same time reducing CO2 emissions because we care about our environment.

Each facility could be regarded as a chemical factory. CO2 from the air and H2O from the air and soil are transformed by sunlight into plant material, such as sugars. This conversion uses a production process known as photosynthesis. Reversible photosynthesis involves the capture and storage of free energy from the environment in the form of plant material, which can then be converted back into CO2 and H2O during plant respiration. The plant uses the energy stored as plant material as "building material" for its expansion. We can speed up these plant life processes by establishing ideal growth conditions.

Geothermal Greenhouse

Each Type of Plant Requires a Particular Amount of Energy (heat) to Complete Its Entire Life Cycle.

The quality and density of the energy supplied to the plant, which is linked to the intensity of the available light, determine the length of its development as well as the quantity and quality of the crop. Only a portion of the climatic year offers the ideal natural conditions for supplying the energy needed for plant development. Depending on their place of origin and unique requirements, these conditions will also vary for various plants. Therefore, the goal of protected crop cultivation is to ensure these ideal growing conditions, regardless of the weather outside the greenhouse, in order to increase crop yield and quality. Determining the variables influencing plant development and the methods and technologies required to sustain ideal growth circumstances within the context of the current social and economic environment are thus the key challenges.

A Greenhouse is a Building Designed to Provide a Shelter for Fresh Flowers

The objective of protected crop cultivation is therefore to guarantee these optimum growth conditions, independent from the climate conditions appearing outside the greenhouse, in order to increase the quantity and improve the quality of the crop. The main difficulty is therefore to identify the factors that influence plant development within the framework of the existing social and economic situation and the techniques and technologies necessary to maintain optimum growth conditions. A greenhouse is a building designed to provide a sheltered space for plant production in a regulated atmosphere, even in seasons with unfavorable weather conditions.

The use of transparent materials like glass, plastic films, plates, fiberglass, etc., which also utilize solar energy to improve the interior temperature conditions, is necessary due to the importance of light in the life activities of plants. However, it is insufficient to maintain ideal growing conditions at night and during times when solar radiation is insufficient. It is necessary to have an additional, controllable heat source. The quantity of additional heat needed will vary depending on the local environment, plant requirements, and greenhouse design. It mostly depends on variations in outdoor air temperature and solar radiation intensity over the course of a year.
